New Lambton Anglican and ANeW are parishes working in partnership with one ministry team.

ANeW is an Anglican Parish whose name explains the ministry:

A – for Anglican
ANeW is an Anglican Parish which comes under the authority of the Bishop of Newcastle and the order of the Anglican Church.

N – for Newcastle
ANeW seeks to serve the city of Newcastle and bring the love of Christ to all who live and work in that city.

e – for Evangelical
‘Evangelical’ traditionally means focused on the Bible. ANeW is committed to the Bible being God’s final word to all humanity.

W – for Worship
ANeW seeks to be a community where people’s lives are transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit as they seek to follow the Lord Jesus.

New Lambton Anglican Parish was established around 80 years ago as part the Diocese of Newcastle. This parish has had a long history of ministry to the local New Lambton community.

ANeW and New Lambton Anglican are seeking to develop new ways of being church which are consistent with the Bible and helpful in reaching out with the Gospel of Christ to the Newcastle Community.
